Evaluation

This term we were given the task of producing a bag for HMV. We used the program Adobe Photoshop CS5. We used tools like the pencil tool to draw in new layers above the picture. I have learnt about new skills like the effects we used in the Filters tab.
One of my strengths was finishing my bag fairly quickly and assembling the bag quickly. It came together with a few minor adjustments. I’m very pleased with my bag but there are a few things I could have improved. I mainly used filters and didn’t really do any complex things, however  did put a bunch of Bob Marley pictures together in the shape of the HMV logo which I was tremendously pleased with (The picture above).  One of my weaknesses was that I spent too much time being lazy. I could have made it better if I wasn’t just on my iPod choosing music every 10 minutes but I did get everything that I wanted to get done, done.  If I was to make another bag I’d use some of my friend’s ideas as I thought they were fantastic. I would also take a little more time actually making the bag on Photoshop and experiment with some different effects and colours.

On the front of my bag you can see I’ve used to different pictures but with different effects. I wanted to show the Rastafarian side of Bob Marley obviously because he comes from Jamaica.  I used effects to get the grainy effects because I thought it looked good and kind of looks like a wall with Bob Marley stray canned on there as a tribute.
