Rule Of Thirds

Rule of Thirds is when the main object your taking a photo of is directly not in the centre but rather on where the lines cross. The point of use it is trying to make your photo more interesting. People are mostly dragged towards the centre of the image whereas if you use the Rule of Thirds, you can make it so the image is different from the others.

Rule of thirds is also used in movies. The best shots are ones which follow the rule.
